The Vosne-Romanée plot is situated on the southern slope of the appellation and comprises 0.50 hectare (approximately 1.25 acres) of 55-year-old vines. The soil is a blend of clay and stony colluvium, contributing to the wine's distinctive character.
Vosne-Romanée is renowned for its elegance, supported by discreet yet structured tannins. This complex and sensual wine reveals aromas of candied fruit, spices, and floral notes, accompanied by a long and delicate finish. While it has excellent aging potential, it can also be enjoyed within the first five years, with decanting recommended one hour before serving.
Winemaking includes 50% whole-bunch fermentation, depending on the vintage. The wine is aged for approximately 18 months in barrels, with 20% new oak.
